Baked Oats That Set in the Middle
Baked oats are done when the edges are fully set and the centre has only a slight wobble left — for one 8-oz ramekin that is 22–25 minutes at 350°F (175°C), and 35–40 minutes for a family-size 8×8 pan. Blending the oats first makes it rise and slice like cake; leaving them whole gives a denser, chewier bake closer to traditional baked oatmeal. Both versions assemble the night before and go into the oven cold with about 5 extra minutes.
