Brazilian Lemonade in Five Minutes
Brazilian lemonade is made by blending whole quartered limes — peel on — with cold water for 15–20 seconds, straining immediately, and whisking in sweetened condensed milk. The blend time is the recipe: past 20 seconds the blades work into the pith and the pitcher turns bitter. Four limes, 4 cups (950 ml) of cold water, 1/3 cup (100 g) of condensed milk and 2–3 tablespoons of sugar serve four, over ice, within the hour.
